has developed a new UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, the SD-1000, that
combines the features of a windows PC with those of a double
beam instrument.
The brand new
SD-1000 is a double beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with the beam
splitter and two silicon photodiode detectors. Since sample and
reference beams are measured simultaneously by two separate but
identical detectors, the effect of lamp drift is virtually
eliminated. This means that analysis can begin immediately
without waiting for the lamp to stabilize. Also sample and blank
are compared simultaneously rather than at separate times.
The SD-1000 with
built-in Color LCD monitor, hard disk storage and standard
windows XP operating system provides the same features as a
separate PC.
Any standard PC
device such as a printer or data storage device can be connected
to the USB port. Standard windows programs such as Excel may be
installed and files are saved in standard PC formats.
The SD-1000 with double beam performance and built in PC can be
used in biology and life sciences, pharmaceutical,
environmental, food, semiconductors and chemical industries
worldwide.
